Delta Treatment Systems, the leader in wastewater treatment, applies experience to
offer packaged systems that can convert up to 3,000 to 500,000 gallons of wastewater per day into clear
and odor-free effluent.
The following is used for the illustration.
A. Air Blower Unit
B. Electrical Control Console
C. Flow Proportioning Chamber
D. Service Walkway/Grating
E. Secondary Clarifier with Chlorination
Builders and developers have new options with Delta Packaged Wastewater Treatment
Plants. If you thought that septic systems were your only choice for domestic wastewater handling,
custom-engineered Delta systems give you new freedom in site location and development.
Delta systems are not limited to issues of terrain or percolation. These pad-mounted, self-contained
units will effectively process the wastewater-handling needs of developments by turning out high-grade,
- Remote housing developments and neighborhoods
- Motels and hotels
- Resort areas
- Apartment complexes
- Military facilities
- Highway rest areas
- Industrial facilities
- Power stations
- Mobile home parks
When waste enters a stream, it becomes food for bacteria present in the water. As long as there is
sufficient oxygen in the stream, the bacteria consumes all organic material over time. Delta systems
use the same process to break down domestic wastewater, only it does it faster and more efficiently.
Plants take in wastewater and process it through an extended aeration and oxidation process that
purifies the sewage by the destruction of organic compounds using naturally occurring bacteria.
The continued mixing with air feeds biological organisms, which consume the volatile materials and
convert them into water, carbon dioxide and ash. The result is a clear and odor-free effluent.
Delta Treatment Systems - Packaged Wastewater Treatment Plants are designed to the particular needs of each location. Suitable for permanent or temporary use in areas outside municipal wastewater systems, each Delta Plant is pre-built at the factory and shipped to the project site as a self-contained unit that requires only minimal assembly.
Secondary and tertiary treatment systems include aeration, settling, filters, clear well chambers, disinfection methods and other ancillary equipment such as blowers, pumps, electrical controls, aeration equipment, filter media and liquid level sensors. Other items, such as gratings, handrails, stairways and flow measuring equipment can be provided. A Delta Treatment Systems representative can assist you in specifying the system that will meet your requirements.
